Youth Red Cross Wing is started in the year 2018 in this College.

Youth Red Cross  is a students’ wing of IRCS, APSB, which take up various nation-building activities at institution level. The main aim of YRC is to instil human values and the spirit of social service among young people and to create a youth force of volunteers to serve society in times of need.

OBJECTIVES:

Ø  To promote the spirit of Social service among the students

Ø  To develop humanitarian values and principles

Ø  Make the students aware of social problems and environmental issues

Ø  To promote the Social responsibility among the students

Ø  Active participation in these activities makes them better citizens of the society

Ø  Activities make the students to use their capabilities for constructive actions

Ø  To make the students to know the importance of life

Ø  To promote voluntary blood donation

Ø  To serve the people during the disasters as volunteer

ACTIVITIES :

Ø  Cleanliness, Hygiene and Green Cover in the Campus

Ø  Conservation of Energy and Water

Ø  Waste Management.

Ø  Awareness on Social issues

Ø  Blood grouping and Blood donation Awareness programmes and Camps

Ø  Conducting the Essay and Elecution Competitions to the students in the issues related to the Cleanliness, Environmental and Social Issues

Ø  Plantation Programmes

Ø  Health and Hygiene Awareness Programmes

Ø  Swatch Bharath Activities
